Round vs Flat Shoelaces
Our shoelaces are produced on braiding machines that are over a century old.
These braiding machines can be divided into tubular or flat braiders.
High quality round shoelaces like ours, have a solid core that the yarn is braided around to increase structural strength and durability.
Flat shoelaces are woven as a tube without a core and are therefore considered weaker than their round counterpart.
